Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FinnTryxi ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use our web application.

1. What we collect

• Account data: your email address and (optionally) your name, collected when you register.
• Payment metadata: plan type, purchase timestamp and Stripe customer identifier. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.
• Uploaded documents: your financial statements are processed in-memory for analysis. We do not persist the raw document to disk once the dashboard is generated.
• Analysis output: generated dashboards, ratios and commentary are held in your browser session and cleared when you sign out or click "Clear report".
• Usage metadata: a monthly count of uploads consumed against your plan.

2. What we don't do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your financial statements to train third-party models.
• We do not share your data with advertisers.

3. AI processing

When you upload a document, its contents are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic Claude) solely to produce your analysis. Anthropic's data handling terms apply to that transmission. No copy is retained by us after analysis is returned.

4. Security

Data in transit is protected by TLS. Access to your account requires your password. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at info@finntryxi.com. Sessions also expire automatically after a short period of inactivity, and in any case after a maximum session duration, so you must log in again to continue working with your financial data.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, and in accordance with our legal obligations.

• Account, billing, and consent records: We keep these while your account exists, and for 7 years after your last transaction. This retention period is required under Malta and EU tax and VAT record-keeping obligations, and it is not affected by an account deletion or erasure request.
• Technical and audit logs: We keep metadata such as analysis attempt records and email delivery logs for 12 months, after which they are automatically purged.
• Contact form messages: We keep messages sent through our contact form for 24 months, after which they are deleted.
• Uploaded documents and analysis output: We do not retain uploaded financial statements or generated analysis content anywhere. These are processed in real time and exist only in your browser session until you sign out or clear the report.

No report or financial analysis content is retained by us.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and similar regimes you may request access, rectification, deletion or export of your personal data. Email info@finntryxi.com and we will respond within 30 days. Please note that your right to erasure is not absolute: we must retain account, billing and consent records for 7 years after your last transaction to comply with Malta/EU tax and VAT record-keeping obligations, so an erasure request will not delete those records until that period expires.

7. Cookies

By default we use only strictly necessary cookies and equivalent storage: authentication and session management for your account, and Stripe's payment and fraud-prevention cookies when you check out. We set no advertising cookies.

On your first visit you are asked to accept or reject non-essential categories. Nothing outside the strictly necessary category loads before you choose, and rejecting is a single click, equally prominent with accepting. The non-essential items currently available are: our brand webfonts served by Google Fonts (Preferences), which shares your IP address with Google; and Google Analytics 4 (Analytics), which measures visits and referring sites with IP anonymisation enabled. Neither loads unless you switch the relevant category on, and if you decline the site is displayed using fonts already on your device and no analytics data is collected. Your choice is stored on your device and can be changed at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
